Kiwi Classic - Matapouri Bay

Positive: The location is great and the bach is very cute. Negative: Once all fees were included, we were paying $700 a night for a very basic bach. There were a couple of things we felt were missing given the hefty price tag. Basic essentials like a salt and pepper shaker weren’t provided, and there were only two small rubbish bags supplied — we feel these basics should be included. Also, we were expected to drop the rubbish at the refuse depot 15 minutes out of town, at an additional cost. We feel this should have been handled by the cleaners, which we obviously paid for. Additionally, a mandatory linen fee was charged at $120 PER DAY, equating to $360 for the three days we stayed. This seems like an outrageous cost and we think guests should have the option to bring their own linen if they prefer, as this would help keep costs down.
